Window sticker said CONVOY but shipped by rail this past week from MI to NC - window sticker updated after the truck left to RAIL. My dealer insisted the train would go to Raleigh (where the dealership is) - but stopped and unloaded in Winston-Salem (about 100mi away) today and my dealer has no idea how long it takes to get a truck from there to here. Almost seems like the first time they've ever dealt with this situation. Clearly being free of Ford Corporate just means dealing with the rest of the incompetence in the logistics line. Will see how it pans out, but my sympathy goes out to all those with trucks collecting more dust in rail yards.

October 20 build. Railyard since the 11th. Eta was the 18th. That came and passed. New eta was February 17th. Which is crazy. Dealer called railyard. And said truck would be on truck today and to expect it today or tomorrow. I felt bad having the dealer dig and call. But it got it moving.

Hey, my dealer is in Florence SC, and they get there trucks out of Winston-Salem. My 10/27 build is in a railcar almost there now. Dealer, FS, Ford Customer Service says a 1/31 to 2/5 eta to me. Sure hope so! I will have my truck clay bared and wax as soon as I get it to get all of the rail dust off of it!

My dealer just contacted me and said two Raptors are being delivered to them tomorrow and that one of them should be mine. The only key word I heard in that conversations was "should" and not "Is". We shall see.

:emotions122:

That's a negative on the delivery. I am shocked by 0.0 percent.

Your dealer should know that they don't drop the truck off in Raleigh. Winston-Salem is the only place in NC they are dropped off and then trucked to the dealerships. I live about 5 miles from the railway yard and used to drive by everyday looking for mine until it arrived.
