Dude I had empty beer cans in my passenger door, under the seat, on the back seat, and in the bed. That doesn't include the ones flying out the window while avoiding fence posts, rocks, and cactus. I think a couple of those were mine LMAO!

hahahahaha!

Funny I had the same problem after Toby rode in my truck!

I was still finding cans in my truck 2 weeks later! Haha

I'm bringn a 30pk to start. And probably a few Mike's Hard Lemonades for breakfast.

A keg would probably be about $10 a person. Cheap!

Hahaha my bad guys! I tried to grab as many beer cans as possible out of the trucks I rode in - then again I was pretty toasty saturday night. I'm going to bring a trash bag with me next time hahaha.

Speaking of, I actually remember that fence post that came out of nowhere hahaha.

Currently have an AirAid CAI on my 2011 SCREW......What was the issues with yours?

Where have you decided to camp at on the 5-6? Any GPS coordinates?

Planning on heading out early Saturday.

The problem that we found with the AIRAID CAI is, the filter itself is not supported in any manner within the airbox. The type of terrain that we drive in at Ocotillo Wells can be rather harsh. There is a great deal of bouncing around, thus the AIRAID filter bounces around in the air box. This puts a bit of pressure/torgue on the filter, where it attaches to the intake tube. There is only about a 1/2" to 1" of tube that the filter can attach too via the band clamp. Result...it falls off and then bad things happen when the dusty air is allowed into the CAI. In my case, it fowled the Mass Air Flow Sensor...shutting down my truck. I believe AIRAID developed these CAI for on road use only/street queen in mind.

We will be camped in the vicinity of Holmes Camp. Just north of the 78 a 1/4 mile, and east of the OW airport.

Anyone else making the drive from Northern California and want to try and caravan out there? Planning on leaving Friday morning from Gilroy.

Thanks for the heads up! Will look at the filter connection to see if there are any mods to be done.

BTW....GPS coordinates to the area of Holmes Camp are
33°08'59.1"N 116°06'47.8"W

I found a great mod for the air raid filter connection when we were in borrego. You fold up a redbull box and shove it underneath the filter. Boom!

Same thing happened to my POS AirRaid last weekend. Over 300 offroad miles I lost the filter 4 times. Finally had to cut a towel and wedge it between the side of the airbox and the filter so it couldn't move.

PS, put me down as a maybe. I think I might be able to sneak out and be out there Saturday morning.
