I have this exact same setup. I love the compact size of the OBDLink MX. I'm still playing around with Dash Command to figure out all it's functions. One small problem I've had is the screen the shows fuel level. When I first fire up the app it works fine, but after a few minutes, the fuel level just goes blank.

I just used the fuel level screen to empty my truck out of 87 octane gas so I could load up on 93. I ran it down until it said I had 2 gallons left. I pumped 35 gallons of gas. It was either off by a gallon or my 36 gallon tank holds 37...

Anyways, it would not reset after that. It took forever to recognize the new fuel. I force stopped the app, relaunched, and then it was fine. Hit the multi task button, then swipe the app to the side. That kills it. Relaunch it and see if it makes any difference.

Ii found it funny the Torque pro app can not write to the ECU on the truck.. But I changed the number of gallons my tank could hold on the app and it wrote that info to the ECU... I had a quarter tank left put in 6 (I meant to put in 36) and **** it showed almost full of fuel on the fuel gauge... So it can obviously write to the ECU at least in some respects.. I changed it to 36 and the gauge went right back to little less than 1/4 tank... I have used Torque for more than two years and reset countless friends CEL and pulled trouble codes....

IceCobra,

I've had lengthy emails with Ian Hawkins (creator) with concerns to TorquePro damaging the Whipple/Ford Tune. TorquePro does not have the capability to write.

What you did is change how the information was being displayed.

I'm really liking it. I need my Proclip holder to make it a complete solution. I also plan on hardwiring a charger to switched power to keep the Nexus 7 charged.
