Have you read this thread? It had nothing to do with octane. It was a bad oil pressure sensor.
That doesn't change the fact that Ford recommends 91 or better, though. Facts are facts.
Yet everyone says including ford it can and should run on 87 with 0 issues as in 0, none.

Back to the original post, I get a call from the service department. They said the oil pressure sensor is on back order until June 27th. Holy shit, i will not be able to play with my truck for o weeks. No one on here said they had similar issue but the service guy said this is a known issue. That is why there is a shortage for the oil pressure sensor. Guess I will just have to drive it gently. Now back the the gas debate.....
This should have been a question asked on this forums registration page. Anyone who argues that an increase in octane does not make a difference in horsepower on a turbo engine should not be allowed on a car forum. End of story. Please close this thread!
