Yea i have zero complaints with mine. My Co workers gen2.5 platinum feels like sitting in a massage chair at the mall lolgen 1 raptor seats too, comfy as hell. Was really surprised when i got my first gen 2 and was like tf these things are rocks.
I always thought it would be cool to do a full KR interior swap on a Raptor.I still want to swap in KR seats, but then i lose my special little raptor embroidery. (even though they aren't real either i just like the color)
That saddle leather was incredible, also very hard to maintain.
When I replaced the driver's side seat skin on the bottom, I upgraded the foam as well. The new foam is softer than OEM, even though it's still firm. Hard to describe.gen 1 raptor seats too, comfy as hell. Was really surprised when i got my first gen 2 and was like tf these things are rocks.
Care to share the foam? and did you use OEM leather for the bottom? I hear the non-OE don't allow air to come through as well. When I replaced the driver's side seat skin on the bottom, I upgraded the foam as well. The new foam is softer than OEM, even though it's still firm. Hard to describe.
I can drive my Raptor 800 miles in a day without feeeling sore. Nothing else I've driven even comes close for me.
Yea I also thought with a $75k truck I wouldn't have to ever discuss this. The Gen 2 owner seats don't look like this and most Gen 3 don't either. A covid build truck with some small issues but again I forever hold my peace on it after 3/36k. Might as well see if they will do anything for me.Damn.
A discussion about a seat wrinkle. I thought I'd never see the days.
The raptor being 75k has nothing to do with it and honestly is an unreal expectation of mass production.Yea I also thought with a $75k truck I wouldn't have to ever discuss this. You’re right that why I’m seeing if they cover it under warranty. I’ll get over it. I love the truck but every other raptor I get into doesn’t have this issue Gen 2 or 3.The raptor being 75k has nothing to do with it and honestly is an unreal expectation of mass production.
I had a F12 that had worse issues than a wrinkled seat. I had a AMG GT that had nav issues the whole time I owned it. I had a 718 Spyder that could not be aligned to save its life. I've had a couple of raptors before this one and had no issues.
I think you're either being hyper-critical or have no other frame of reference.
The Raptor isn't a 75K truck anyway. It's a 25K with 50K of engine and suspension addons.
Either have the dealer replace the cover under warranty, buy an aftermarket cover, get over it or sell the truck.
Thank you for posting this. This is how it should look. Mine looked the exact way since day 1.This is my 23 seat for reference, but with less miles. I don’t think you’re out of line saying yours is a bit excessive, especially the part with the Raptor logo.
