Sounds like a plan. I was thinking heading up 880 to Richmond and crossing over to the 101 there unless u know a better way

im taking the 101 route but im also going up friday mid morning, so if you go early sat im sure that'll be the way to go.

I am rolling up 101 Friday morning should be in Willits by Friday afternoon. I will run 101 right across the Golden Gate bridge hoping to get some great video of it... If anyone's going up Friday from the south bay area drop me a note...

Soooo funnnny lol off subject here's a cleaner pic of my icom install, plus mounted mic while not being used :)
Looks pretty sharp! I need to remount mine. I mounted it a little too high and my tray won't fit at the moment.

Your route works Manny. However, I hate the 880 - especially in Oakland. Lots of construction and and what not. You could take the 280 or 101 straight up from San Jose through SF. You'd get to drive over the Golden Gate which is always impressive.

Also, you could take the 680 and meet up with us in Vallejo. If not, maybe we can meet up along the 101 in the Petaluma area.

Im with Bigg, I much prefer 280 over any other freeway in the bay area. Google maps says 280 is the fastest from where I'm at. Taking 880 would be a bit of a back track. But then again we could go our seperate ways until san rafael/petaluma area

At 2600 hours your lost...

That's the twilight time zone. I don't usually go there.

However, if you'd like to have it in UTZ, that would be departure at 2200Z and arrival at 0130Z.
