Nokian Rockproof

well guys I have been looking at tires, had someone on the facebook site recommend them, if your running them tell me about them. I have never heard of them before, and they are considerably cheaper than other options(which makes me Leary). i was quoted $1295 for mounting and shop fees, also includes a nitrogen charge. I need them to last, and id rather not to get stuck everytime i go offroad. i did do some reading on the site, but id rather have unbiased review of the tire. thanks in advance guys

My son Cullen has been testing them on his 2010 Raptor since last July. He has taken them through offroad trails, mud, snow through the Snoball 2018 and all I can say is I wish they made them in 37's. With all his playing in the dirt, there is absolutely zero chunking from spinning tires in the dirt and rocks. Also, although they aren't rated for winter weather and snowy conditions, they performed flawlessly at the Snoball event last month.

Haven't run the Rockproofs but have run Nokian Vatiiva MTs in the past and the only winter tires I run are Nokians. Wouldn't surprise me that they are great.

How is the wear on them? If you don't mind me asking. That's has to be a consideration for me, I can't keep buying tires all the time

Well I decided to get them, I really like them. Definitely louder the the stock kos. They seem heavier too. We took a backroad home and tested them out on the sand and down a dirt road. In the sand they dug down deeper than I wanted them to, but I didn't get stuck. On the dirt road they did great, cleaned out real well when we drove thru some mud.

@jaytperry Hows the noise and wear so far? Coming fro **** cepek exp's and they have gotten pretty loud near the end of their life now. Looking to try these depending on your answers
