Noise at freeway speed

I've developed an occasional sound that sounds like a can rattling around at freeway speeds coming from front of truck. It comes and goes and I haven't been able to reproduce it on demand but was able to get a video/sound clip. You can see in the video the turbo isn't kicking in, speed is constant, but comes on randomly. Any ideas?

What was the last service, maintenance or modification done to the truck?

Gets regular maintenance and service. Probably last dealership oil change/service was 8 months ago? Truck has Deaver rear and Geiser front springs.

I had a similar problem with my 2017, and it turned out to be a bad check valve tube assbly FL3Z*3A788*B that was replaced under warranty. Without the vacuum it is always unintentionally trying to slightly lock the wheel, producing the grinding sound. The dealer should also inspect the wheel bearing splines, to make sure there is no damage from the grinding to this point.

that never even occurred to me. If I remember correctly, a successful transfer to 4A should stop the noise. If it does, that’s the issue. I’m used to the IWE being referred to as a grinding sound.

It doesn't sound like low pitched grinding you'd be expecting... more higher pitched and shrill like a thin metallic can in bigger can rattling sound.

This thread saves here! I brought it to local dealer for 3 times for this issue, they don't know what noise I am talking about, I am so frustrated. is this something I can check myself and show them directly as an evidence.

Google the part number, and you'll find a couple of good YouTube videos showing the part and easy replacement. The new part # ends in B not A. The new part is easily identified with a blue not black jacket. It is supposed to be a common problem, and worth the 5$ to replace even if not leaking vacuum yet .
