Hey guys long time lurker and I’m sure you guys get these threads a lot from prospective buyers such as myself, but I just had a quick question about a used CPO 2019 raptor that I was looking at near me.

https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/inven...gHelper.selectedEntity=d337#listing=261977289

Basically the dealer isn’t negotiating and says he’s selling it for only 200 more than he bought it for. I didn’t try any hard negotiating as I don’t necessarily know if I want this specific one and just wanted to test the waters, but he seemed adamant about not budging and said he priced it so low because it’s been on the lot so long. So basically the 61k it’s advertised for minus 200 is what he claims to have purchased it for. It doesn’t even have the 802a package from the listing, but the no moon roof is a bonus from what I’ve read from your guys postings.

Sorry for the wall of text, but I guess my question is, is this a good deal or should I try to see if he budges? I’m in California, the Central Valley if that info helps. Thanks guys.

61k and odo says 6100+ miles.
I didn’t look too hard but a loaded 802a 2019 + the commiefornia surcharge and it wouldn’t be a bad local price.

Keep looking, we’re in a Pandemic. Ford stopped paying the dividend, and new dealers are loaded with inventory. It’s a buyers market, take your time and you’ll get a better deal. Good luck!

Don't like it, move along and find another one. You're wasting your time with the dealer. Pandemic, or not, interest rates are crazy low, the housing market is booming, maybe due to pent up demand, may be the same with cars.
Find the best deal you can and jump on it.

Ok so the consensus seems to be a no. I kinda figured but I guess I’m trying to talk myself into a raptor and that one was available. And yeah California is ridiculously overpriced when it comes to anything.

Ok appreciate the advise, I’ll keen looking. They offered a 2.5% interest financing which I thought was pretty good, but you’re right.

What is your guys opinion on this one? How much could I realistically talk them down to without them dismissing an offer completely? Less than 400 miles and is optioned to the max I believe.

I’m hesitant to look outside of California because I like to physically see the truck in person, but maybe going out of state is the way to go. I’m not opposed to new, I just want a reasonable price relative to the raptor realizing it’s an awesome truck.

Thanks I’ll send a pm as soon as I figure out where it’s at lol. Was the 66k taxes and fees included?
