No trailer brake control

I am looking at a 2019 Raptor equipped with almost every option I want except the trailer brake control. The Raptor is a 801A package. The Raptor is being offered to me at $3.5k off msrp. I want the TBC because I plan on towing my Mustang with the Raptor. How expensive/difficult is it to add it after the fact?

Doesn't get much easier!

The tbc can be had for < $100 on eBay, and you can enable it yourself with Forscan.

On a positive note, not sure how you value your time, but the hour or two to install and re-program might very well be worth the couple extra bills ;-)

You can find them even cheaper. I think I paid about $60 when I had my 2016 a couple years back and now there's an even bigger surplus.

So what about the back up controller? Can I but it on ebay and just add it.
