Followed the instructions step by step. Reconnect battery, turn key to start and power shorts out. Retraced the procedure, double checked that I cut blue/red wire, looks good, replace 20A fuse with a known good one, same deal. Not sure If I blew a fuse twice? Not sure what I did wrong.
Suggestions? Thanks.

OK, figured it out.....I think fuse that came with kit must have been blown from the get go.....very difficult to see but after going through the procedure 3X, I think I also loosened the battery connection.....retightened both battery connections, replaced fuse with new and problem solved.
