As long as you are running a stubby antenna then the Gen2 mounts work perfectly. They made a post in the Gen3 lighting section.I have not seen that SPV released pillar mounts yet? Link?
Which visor panel did you go with? Looking to something similar.A couple of things right now:
- Diamondback SE cover and Crossbin 13- If the damn freight company can ever get it delivered
- Visor panel and a couple of attachment items (knife, medical shears)
- Yaesu FTM-400XDR radio and Comet SBB-5 dual band antenna
How's the Retrax?I went with the retrax. I'll tell you tomorrow how I like it when I pick up the truck. I was torn between the retrax and the diamond back hd.
Got it from Amazon OneTigris MOLLE Visor Cover Pouch with Hook-and-Loop Sealed Pocket (Black). The Raptor visor is pretty fat, so it requires that you stretch the elastic straps to connect the hook and loop. It's been holding up well. This configuration seemed to work the best as far as interference (largest item toward centerline) and I don't even notice that it is there. The trauma kit, tq and knife are attached by PALS. With the trauma kit and tq I only used one side of the PALS, so with one tug I can pull the item off the panel.Which visor panel did you go with? Looking to something similar.
