My dealer told me it’s only a $395 option but if I didn’t order it and wanted to add it later, it would cost $3500! So, I ordered it and use it all the time.

I didn't get it, but I do wish I had it sometimes. I'm 6'2" but it's still a reach to get up there when I need to. Plus I'm in my mid-50s, that jump down is a bit jarring on my aging lower back. But in the end I carry a 2-step folding step stool in the bed anyway to check the oil and clean the windows so it's all good.

When I ordered my 2018 I completely forgot to select the step. I cry a little each time I need to climb into the bed.
