Is anyone else having trouble with their iPhone 4s and Mobile Apps? Every time I try to Find Mobile apps I get the message "No Mobile Apps Found". I make sure that the app (Pandora) is running in the foreground when I do the search but still nothing.

I have tried doing a Master Reset and Factory Default reset as well as pulling the fuse for Sync from the kick panel. Also tried resetting the iPhone. Nothing!

I can stream via BT Devices but I just can't get the AppSync to load up Pandora to show the playing song. (also tried with other apps like SLACKER)

Does anyone have this thing working or is it an Apple thing?

Do you have it physically plugged into the Sync USB port? It doesn't work over Bluetooth.

To be specific, the Mobile Apps - Pandora doesn't work over Bluetooth, though it will stream via Bluetooth, but you won't get all the native Pandora bells and whistles.

I have an iPhone 4 and have never been able to sync Apps.

Apple vs. Microsoft!

I still have to take mine to the dealer due to some other sync issues and the steering wheel controls not working.

I have always wanted to try a droid or ms based device to see if I could get that to sync and get apps to work If that works it is most like apple.

I did have better luck with the iPhone being recognized after I wiped it clean and reinstalled the software from iTunes.

Hey Fred, so if you have a android phone and plug it into the sync port some apps will work through the factory nav unit?

I can't speak for the iPhone 4, but Pandora works great with Android, it even lets me thumbs up and thumbs down songs all via Bluetooth.

Yeah, the iPhone will only let you do that if you have it physically plugged in - though I normally do anyway if I'm driving, just to keep the battery happy.

I tried physically plugging it in. Same thing, no mobile apps found. Hell, at least it streams via BT but I wanted to see the artist name, etc. I'm gonna play with it some more. Now I'm looking at other things like sending Mapquest and Google directions straight to your phone. Interesting.

Yeah, I've never got any of the sending directions things to work, but my Pandora does. Sometimes I have to shut it down and restart it, then plug it in. It can be fussy, but usually starts working.

Yea me to I just went out with my android phone that has Pandora on it, I plugged it in and no apps. Is there a certain sequence that must be followed?
