Hi everyone, I am sorry that, I am here as this is a Raptor forum, and, I do respect that, but thought you guys might be able to help me as its still a Ford.

I have a issue with a Ford Mustang 2016, that does not see my key outside of the programming key slot, as well as none of the buttons on the key fob work, I have tried replacing batteries that did not help. While in the programming slot the key is detected and lets me start it up, but outside of it nothing. I tried replacing the RTM, that did not help. I have a DTC with the code U0258:87-48: "Missing Communication with RADIO Transceiver", not really sure what to do next if I am being honest, I tried to go into a mustang forum, but weirdly as soon as, I registered, I got banned for "Spam", when, I did not even have the chance to post anything, so that seemed not too friendly. That is why, I am trying my luck here, again my dear apology for being in the wrong place.

Thanks for your replies in advance.

From some of the posts on here, guys have disconnected the battery for awhile and did a BMS reset. Also some had interference with phones.

I do not really have any phones or chargers on anything of that sort in the car, just like parts and stuff like that, you meant the key fob battery or the actual car battery?

Car battery. Not sure how to do the BMS reset on a 14. On my 13 all I had to do was let it sit overnight. BMS is battery management system. Should be able to find the procedure in the manual.
