If the dealer modded your truck, sounds like it's on the dealer. I am having a hard time understanding exactly what's going on with your truck though. To be fair, I didn't read all your links though.

I'm going off "half cocked"

Did YOU read the whole thread? Dealer blamed it on residual but it was gear oil NOT motor oil.
The puddles of smelly gear oil in my drive way are not straws.
The thread with the guy who claimed a “clear fluid” leak? Who never followed up after it was clearly not leaking?

You lifted your truck. You put your entire front suspension and axle geometry well outside of factory specifications. That’s on you, not anyone else.
What’s even better is the dealer that last took a swing at this issue sold the same exact upper a arms that I have and the shock spacer to run 37” tires. I’m not just making hay here.
Dealers are not owned by manufacturers. They’re franchises, and they exploit that to their full advantage. A dealer can sell you whatever aftermarket parts you want, it does not mean it’s covered under warranty. Not sure what you’re missing here.

In Bunman's case, you can't get that tire shine back in the jug.
we need to sub the Bunnery Sergeant’s tire shine with heel and toe dressing. That’ll set him on the path to righteousness, get rid of that shine and have nothing but pitch black tires.

Has any of the repair attempts went any further than simply pounding in a new seal? Maybe there's something else causing the leak?

I’m rescheduling And hoping to discuss this. Perhaps the case, the axle or maybe the parts that hold the axle centered inside the diff are worn. So far they have just replaced the seal and bearing. That doesn’t seem to help.

Years ago GM was having an issue with a transmission fluid leak out of the bell housing. After several repairs and sending every possible seal in to GM that could possibly leak, they figured out that when they cut the notch in the torque converter it left a sharp edge that was slightly cutting the seal upon installation of the converter. Wasn't a big leak, just dripped a couple drops after each drive cycle. Not always as simple as it seems.
Checked both my 2020 and 2023, no leaks. If you stick with a decent dealership, hopefully they'll keep track of what they've done as it goes on until its repaired. Don't get discouraged. Its just an axle seal leak. Overall, they're awesome trucks.

Thanks! That’s what I needed. I just get discouraged. I went and talked to my buddies at the race shop and they told me to ask about the wear items. At least now I feel like I have a possibility of actually getting it fixed.
I absolutely love my truck. if the front diff holds like 1.5 quarts of oil I dont wanna have to constantly be going through the hassle of filling it.

Just to be clear I absolutely love this truck. It’s a 17 with 58000 miles and she’s been everywhere from Moab and Ouray to a ton of Baja trips including 1 from the border to Cabo that was 90%ish all dirt. She’s a bad machine just need to keep her lubed up.
