I just saw this thread for the first time. Hope I'm not to late to chime in. I love my @Raptor Retrofit lights. One thing that I had Dawson do, that I wish I hadn't, is blacking out the side light reflector.

I had him paint "SVT" in the side light. But, with the reflector blacked out, the "SVT" doesn't light up at night. I plan to install new LED's today to try and make it brighter. Hopefully this works. I am also installing the new Morimoto XB 55 ballast today.

You can't see the reflector through the amber side light anyways. Also, the bulb is located lower in the housing so it needs to be reflected in order to light up your image (American Flag?). Hope this helps.

Ok guys. Dawson @Raptor Retrofit really hit this one out of the park! Boom!
If you where at snoball, you got to see these bad boys in person.

I feel like a little kid on Christmas morning when I fire these flaming heads into action.

The Osram CBI bulbs are so worth the upgrade! When I click the high beams on they light the road on fire in front of me. My previous MH1 build was bright, but when going to the high beams, The light never got brighter. It simply lifted the projector bulb cut off. The FX-R with Osram CBI bulbs are so unbelievably bright and have a great flood pattern to the sides that I can change my light set up on the front off the truck.

The laser etch, evil eye and green back lit give this build such a unique quality that only a Night Raptor can pull it off. I wired the "bling" lighting to an aux switch and also tied in some blue LEDs for the side vents. As some may know, the amber rings can have a limited life span. I've read that it can be due to running the amber rings and the projector at the same time. Thus is why I used the aux switch instead of the tap into the amber marker lights.

I am very impressed with the output of these lights. Having the ballast mounted directly to the back of the head is also a nice new feature. Makes installation a lot easier.

Dawson - thank you for your donation to the Be The Match raffle at GLRE's Havoc in the Hills. And thank you for a great set of heads!

Thanks guys. The truck was hardly noticeable before and people would pull out in front of me. Now I hit the green lantern switch and they disintegrate before my very eyes! The look of horror on the other drivers as I pass is enough to keep idiot drivers in their place! Lol...
