Crowne is not great, but that bad either. Spent 2 months living in the Crowne in Johannesburg South Africa last year.

They are a IHG rewards club hotels, unfortunately no longer a platinum with them only gold. Moved to Hilton & Marriott hotels for most of my stays now

There's one in Auburn Hills and one in Novi. The one in Auburn Hills is between the Silver Dome and the Palace.
