We had strong strong winds the last week, which knocked down a dead tree onto the truck and boat. Not horrible considering but still over $9k damage to the truck. Will be getting a new right rear door and a few dents on the roof taken care of.

Truck was finally able to go into the body shop for repairs. Gonna be a long month without it.

I braved the cold and snow today and did some work. Installed GJ Motorsports 3rd brake light and KHC bed supports.

I opted not to use the 3rd brake light clips that came with it. Instead I installed a few 10-24 nutserts. Cleaner and more secure insulation.

I still need to finish up the wiring but I can not locate the inside pass though wires to go to the uplifter switches.

Just finished up installing a Kenwood race radio from PCI. I went with a 110w remote head radio because I didn't want to loose my center console gun safe.

Took about a day and a half, but I had the time and only wanted to do it once. I wasn't 100% sure that the remote head unit was going to fit in the media center so getting to fit took a bit of trial and error. I added some aluminum stock to the back of the compartment for more of a secure head unit mount. Lost the 2 USB ports but never used them anyways.

Pretty happy with the final product. I can disconnect the mic and close the media door when not in use.

Used a Builtrite rack behind the right rear seat to mount the base unit.

Ran the power up the right side, behind the body control module and through a plug I found. Removed the right fender liner, installed a grommet and ran the wires directly to the battery.
