Not sure if you called your insurance and claimed it yet, just know it may tarnish your vehicles title. Yes they may help out with the replacement cost, but... at a cost. If you can, research the parts and buy strategically, replacing all the parts that would make sense and upgrading others. Best of luck to you and always check your corners.

Upgrade time. is always better bet cost wise. especially if you are going to keep your truck. just don't go over board with it, can happen very easily.

can also check salvage yards for the used ones. should be plenty of 150 rears around. is how my jeep has survived for years...

How fast are you going in a garage lol.

Was the frame checked?
Bending an axle is a lot easier then bending the housing, also was the wheel bent too?

As long as the frame and attachment points are ok, everything else is pretty easy to swap out if you have some skill and tools.

You could easily by some used rebuilt rear shock for less than the $700. And that’s a pair.

Def upgrade or the very least get a pair of springs. I wouldn’t run one new and one old. Heck. If you have to get some springs from a front end wreck. But get both of them

Axle house you could do the same. Get off a wrecked or splurge and upgrade.
