30 minutes towards Superior there are some really nice trails that go through some cool canyons. One of them is barely wider than a Raptor. Has a few little tricks and twists in it, too.

BTW Welcome.

Absolutely! 20 mins drive to some good trails off the 87 Beeline. Most are scenic trails but there is one fairly close where you can push the truck hard.

I was thinking that Queen Valley, Montana Mountain loop would be fun. Or North East of Florence has lots of trails to romp on. Box Canyon might be a little to narrow, worth a try though.

2 weeks after I got mine I took it on a trail from hwy 87 to Saguaro Lake. I didn't realize the trail would become extremely narrow with some ridiculous narrow washes that would only fit ATV's. At that point I couldn't back track and had to push forward and there was a part where I literally had to ride with my two right wheels on the wall of the wash. I thought I was screwed and almost crapped my pants but the Raptor handled it great and actually made it to Saguaro. I did not take the same route back or would want to try anything like that again for sure. I did get quite a bit of desert brush pinstriping but it all polished off with some good products. I love scenic trails but once I got to push the truck hard at high speeds I was hooked. That's what's great about the Raptor, you can do scenic trails but also let it loose and there are some great organized expeditions people put together. I am doing the El Bandito 500 down in Baja in October. Get one and hopefully I'll be seeing you in some runs in the future :grd:

Awesome! I had 2200 miles on my Rubicon when I showed up to run Hackberry Creek in Superior with the local Jeep club. It was pretty funny to see the "he's going to run that on this trail look" from some of the guys. Its either you get ribbed for buying a trail ready machine and not use it, or get ribbed for taking a fairly expensive vehicle on the trail. I wont buy it and abuse it, but it will get used. :)

The Raptor goes right through Box Canyon. I did a bypass around the drop off right by the coke ovens turn off. But everything else, easy.
