Interesting. Good to know. Wait til you get the res delete in. Take her out to 40mph and put in M2. Floor it to 60mph. Let off. Thank me later. :)

Seems to me that taking off the resonator on any exhaust set up on these trucks is a must if you want to hear a little something. I put a magnaflow on mine at first while keeping the resonator and had similar feelings that it hardly did anything at all. Took the resonator off and was much more satisfied...until I heard this setup! Love the rumble of this!

So...would you guys with this setup and the resonator off say that I should rip off my magnaflow to go to this setup? Is it worth trashing a 6 month old muffler? I didn't do a whole system with the magnaflow at least, just a muffler swap and resonator taken out.

Anyone go from a Magnaflow to the volant exhaust? Drastic difference? Seems like similar volume but much deeper, more throaty tone. More of that "brrrrat" that we all want. Am I right?

BTW...I have the smallest sized Magnaflow (has loudest volume)

My full cat back magnflow on my old Denali had a horrible drone at 2000 RPMs. Right is the 70-75 mph cruising speed. But even through the gears you could found the drone showing up @ 2500 in every gear. The Raptors version may be very different.

No, I bet it is similar. I don't have a specific kit deal or anything, mine is just a magnaflow muffler thrown in the stock setup. I have noticed some drone around 2,000 RPM. It doesn't drive me crazy but I do notice it slightly. I just assumed that with volume comes some drone. If this Volent system has very little to no drone, that would be another huge plus to me.

So @LITTLEELVISDAN, would you say that the Volant exhaust is drastically better about the drone than your magnaflow was?
