It will probably get the thumbs up for production by mid-June.

Correct on a V8 coming.... parts for this have a production part approval date of early June. We will have the V8 option.

thats for a "SWAP" prepare your ****.....

go buy a $60-70k truck and have your precious v8 SWAPED IN. i bet it would cost 15-20k if not more, yea you can sell the old engine, but engines are insanely hard to resale.

Just FYI new units don't just "show up" at our dealership that aren't our units. If they do we don't just get to sell them because they showed up. That pretty comical.

All the guys that need a V8, just to have good sound are willing to take a hit with performance? I'd rather have the performance over sound any day. You'll need to slap on a supercharger after the SWAP costing in the 20K range+
Have at it, but I'll be driving the hell out of this engine before I drop another in it.

Wait and see my friends - the test trucks are still out there and coded with the .5 model year. This rollout will be just like gen 1.... initial units offered with 5.4, and optional 6.2.

Folks want another option for engine because the inherent 3.5 ecoboost design issues were not addressed.
