To those that suggest to look the truck over before signing: Well I feel that I did look it over carefully and was a little distracted with all of the other issues the truck was delivered with from the get go. I can assume yours didn't have a similar issue then? That is what I was looking for in the original post. I am dealing with the dealer and body shop at the moment. I have come across one other person with a 19 locally that also had a similar issue...met through the PDR guy.

On delivery day we found damage on the tailgate and had to have the tailgate repainted, new bumper step cover, 3 of the four flares were replaced and the passenger mirror cover was also repainted. We also found a scuff in the dash but since it was a retail order and they sold my trade I felt obligated to purchase the truck and seemed like we found everything else and would just live with the scuff in the dash. Came back to pick it up and the door sill was scuffed pretty bad and had that replaced and the tailgate cap was also messed up and had to be replaced.

I wish I was making this stuff up and trust me I have a lot better things to do with my time then deal with this BS. I have owned many new vehicles between myself and my wife and have never seen anything like this mess.

Yeah, that’s quite a punch list. I’m not trying to ‘rub this in’ nor do I take any satisfaction out of you having these issues; the opposite if anything. I was just trying to point out by using this as a lesson for the “just sign the papers and drive away” crowd.

I hope you’re done with the punch list and on the road again soon.
