What’s up Gents,

The old lady picked up a newer expedition MAX to help us shuttle the kids around for their travel baseball team and the dealer had a higher mileage (167k) Gen 1 sitting around for cheap. Took it off their hands and now she’s mine. Looks like the previous owners took pretty good care of her but I’ll go ahead and give her a good once over.

As she sits now, I have to do the following:

Sunroof rebuild kit (just finished over the weekend)

Replace all 16 plugs (FML)

Front driver side axle (boot is split open)

Change all fluids (because I have trust issues)

Fix back sliding glass (cable snapped)

Replace both front door lock actuators

Clean up the minimal rust spots (mostly at the bottom rear quarter panels)

Looking forward to this!

Congratulations on a Beautiful Gen 1.
She’s good for at least another 100k.
I had 200k when I sold mine and she was running perfect.
Thank You for your Service.
Brag, SF, 82nd or Delta (if they existed)
Welcome to FRF if you can turn a wrench, these guys can help you fix anything. They mostly just confuse me and give me a migraine…lol

Nice 1st Gen! Welcome to the group--you will find FRF a GREAT resource with helpful folks. It's nice seeing a Brother Veteran join!
Thanks brother, I figured this forum would be full of Vets. My side of the fence has a few good looking Gen2's... I know y'all are in here!

Thanks John. I'm hoping to get a lot of life out of this 6.2. And when push comes to shove I'll just rebuild it. And FYI... The Unit doesn't exist... we're just a a figment of your imagination

Welcome. You did all the right first mods

Army huh well since you have a raptor now its ok, just leave the crayons alone!! LOL
I got you Irregular F150 lol I'll leave all the Crayons to you!

Spent a good bit of the morning all over this forum. Gonna be a big help. Already started looking at rebuilding the shox. It came with a bunch of SVC components and "different" FOX shox (FOX 3.0 i believe) but God only knows how many miles they have on them or when they were last rebuilt.
