New to forum and Raptors.... Any thoughts on this rig?

Hi All,

I have always wanted a Raptor, I drove this yesterday. It's in great running order. Wonder the if the collective knowledge of the Forum thinks this a good deal. Or what the target price should be. Also any watch out for a 2012?

Welcome to the place. Looks fairly clean, looks like lots of paint chips on the front end that could use some touch up, maybe bargain on that a bit. Seems a bit high on price but it is from a Ford dealer, so there is room to move with any repairs or replacements needed. Check and see if fuse 27 has been relocated yet, that is a concern, dealer could do that while you filled out the paperwork. They are really good dependable vehicles and the dealer should give you a warranty for 3 months at least if they are reputable. Don't be scared to crawl under the truck and look for dents/rust in the undercarriage components. Good luck and keep us posted.

Yep used car prices are up especially on more scarce things like the Raptor. It'll probably be 6 months before the market adjusts down again.

Nice truck. Might seem a little high price, but not to bad. I'm glad I got my 2013 about a year ago for for 42,000 with only 40,000 miles and a ton of mods already on it.

Thanks All, I was thinking $35k offer. I don't need this truck, I just want this truck. Plus the less $ the more likely my wife will be on board.
