This argument has been on going since the 1st guy put a fuel cell in a prerunner/race truck!

IMO the best placement for the cell is behind the cab over being behind the axel! If you have 40 gallons in the tank the truck is going to react much different than when your getting down to 5-10 gallons regardless of when you valve the truck. I prefer to use things like spares/tools and a jack to keep the weight behind the axel since that weight doesn't change

I have a solution, run an electric motor and then the fuel cell will be constant. Just play V8 rumbling sounds from your iPod dock.

Get outta here with that logic!

Everyone needs a write off this time of year. It's the finically responsible thing to do. Plus those 5.0s are so sweet and smooth

The 15's with a V8 SCREW were going for $28,000-29,000 here in Texas. I only know because I about pulled a trigger on one when I moved to Dallas to send it off for suspension and performance work. I'm waiting to see what Ford will do on the V8 for the second generation. Raptor owners are going to spend $20,000-30,000 more then these trucks, but the upgrades you could do would outdo the Raptor in regards to money spent. The issue is it still wouldn't be a Raptor.

maybe the raptor with fade away…..more people got started in off road with the first raptor……..soon realized they need more……now realizing they can get way more for less starting with an f150……who knows. i have always loved my 5.0…..being in the lightest f150 as well makes it feel that much better.
