The thinking with clear ano was that it looks similar enough to the aluminum parts Ford uses like stock control arms and top hats so it wouldn’t be too out of place and then it’s the most reliable in terms of parts never get scrapped at ano really. Could be inclined to do everything in black instead. I know at the end of the day that’s what most people would want. The trouble with orange is there’s always some variation. I have two shocks in my garage right now that don’t match even. I prefer to do finishes that will always meet peoples expectations and that is hard when even the things they might bolt to don’t match each other. But yeah I would say black is definitely on the table.
That's good thinking and I hadn't considered matching the factory lower control arms also being aluminum. I just think it would look out of place on an otherwise colored component, and more like a prototype or as though it was another factory cast aluminum component.

That being said I do completely understand that it's not as simple as "hey make them in orange".

any plans on expanding the product line to include other generations of raptors since they share some similarities?

Definitely agree that clear has more of a prototype look to it. I’ll actually have a set of black parts this week since someone wanted black and our anodizer had a run I could sneak them in with. Will post up some pictures of those ones they are back.

I’d certainly like to. Once these are in full swing will be considering other product lines.

The rear on 37 trucks might be able to clear 39s comfortably. Front would require trimming because of turning though. No way out of that.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, if I get the rear spacers, would the shocks need a recalibration? And if so how is that accomplished?

Definitely not a stupid question considering many overlook this and wonder why their suspension rides rougher. Whenever ride height is changed, the ride height sensors should get recalibrated. This can easily be done in forscan. I put together brief overview of all things forscan related to this kit here: https://indexsuspension.com/pages/forscan. Ride height is super easy.

Got a few black parts back from ano today. Black looks really clean as expected. It passes the “what would I personally rather run on my truck test” so will be doing everything in black now. Maybe will consider other options down the road, but keeping it simple for now. Can never go wrong with black ano.IMG_7650.jpeg

That does look really good.
It looks practically OE on the end of a shock. The other part I have a set of spring spacers, but those are that exciting. Just some aluminum pucks. In black it might all blend in enough that your average dealership wouldn’t even notice… not that that’s saying much these days.
