Ok, I just installed the cat back system from stainless works on my 13 Supercab.
Factory connect, S-tube mufflers, behind rear tire. Sweet exhaust....But For some reason when I accelerate hard there's a loud sucking sound. I Have a K&N Drop in (Not a full CAI) but I tried installing the factory filter and it still made the noise.

Cant tell if its a leak or it needs more air because the exhaust is less restrictive now? Mabye something got jumbled loose on the manifold when they were installing the exhaust?

Has this happened to anyone else? Wondering if im damaging my engine somehow.

Thanks in advance!

Stolen image from wiz's build thread, thought that maybe one of your lines may have come off. Just something to look at while investigating the problem.

And just a little thing I've learned about vacuum....... it sucks.

I have the Lightning Style SW exhaust and I too get a slight sucking noise but it isn't anything I'm really worried about but I will monitor this thread to see if I'm missing something.

That noise is the sound of fuel being burned at a higher rate since your foot is in it more so you can enjoy the sound! Hahhahaaa. For real, sure its a sucking sound and not a hiss coming out the tail pipe?

Post a video if you can, would really like to hear what this is about!

I'll see if a video can pick it up or not. I almost sounds like some air noise as if the rear door isn't shut all the way. I guess that's the best way to describe it. Not sure if the op feels the same or not
