Has anyone off-roaded with these installed? I’d be worried they’d come right off if my departure angle was too tight. It looks like they sit higher than the bottom of the hitch, but I can’t tell.
I can't personally say I have offroaded with them, but I can say as far as fitment goes, they sit up pretty tight to the bumper and to take them off with departure angle, you would first need to tear off both your exhaust tip and your tow hook and at that point I would be more concerned about the damage to the bumper and rear end of the truck than the lights.

You can see close up in this video at 42 seconds how high above the exhaust tip they sit and even with the tow hook at this angle. However, you can flip them upside down (which the light can be turned in any direction) and that raises them by putting the mounting point on the bottom and makes them sit barely under the bumper.

But like I said. Your exhaust sits a LOT lower.

This is what I wanted to know. This video shows how high up they are tucked. I think you’re right that the tailpipe is the weak point there. I may or not be able to confirm from my own experience. I know the low point on the back is the hitch but I rarely go over anything in the center because the diff is the low point in the rear.

Thanks for your help. I appreciate how thorough you are with design and support. Last year I installed your no drill mounts on the front with a 40” light bar. I have recommended it to others. You also saved me a ton of headaches with your fuse bundle for the truck. What a pain to find those notched fuses anywhere else!

Those are all awesome things to hear! We are always excited to be able to help make these things easier for everyone!

Thats what make us a little different than a lot of places. We don't just make things to make them and sell them. The philosophy is to make things that make things easier to do, install, and make them clean and very precise. OCD for me really plays into that. So for those who aren't extremely particular. They won't know the difference. For those of us that are very OCD and everything needs to measure up, make sense and be even, etc. Those people will REALLY see the difference in our stuff.

Just installed these today. Super easy installation. They are exactly what I was looking for to get a little more light and secondary signals. So much better than a light bar.

Just FYI -

Diode is having an significant price increase soon, (The light portion effects the price) and we do have about 20 of the C1R lights needed for this kit before their price increase. So if you were waiting for these. Now is the best time. For the Forum members. You can also use the code RAPTORFORUM100 for an additional discount while it lasts.

Ill check. It could be that I threw them up fast from an Iphone to get it on the site before our photo/video guy did photos/videos and they just didn't get replaced.

Thanks.

Does Rigid make a behind the upper grill light for a 24 F150 Raptor?
If you mean above the word FORD behind the main grille, then no. The fitment is different up there on the Gen 3 Raptor versus the Gen 2, so we haven't seen anything fit up there at this time. That said, John may still look into it and see if it's possible in the future. We just don't have anything like that at this time.
If you are talking about below the word FORD on the main grille, we do have options for dual lightbars or up to 6 pod lights for that placement on the Gen 3 Raptor. We can customize light kits for that placement, so if you don't see the combination you are wanting for that kit already on our website, we can create whatever setup you want there for your lightbars or pod lights.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks!
