Well, I pretty much *****'d my OEM skidplate at the last Raptor Roundup. I think I took the back tabletop a bit too fast and cleared the entire thing. Took a good hit, but good thing I have the Stage III on the rear and +1 perch up front.

Anyway, now I have three choices to replace my stock skidplate.

1. TMX - Better clearance/angle compared to stock
2. Replacement stock skid (Same thing will probably happen. Of course I could also bang out my thrashed skid.)
3. New Bumper with built in skid. Leaning towards RPG raceline or ADD Venom

Of course, 3 sounds best if money is not a concern but I'm not too sure I want to replace my stock bumper just yet.

I know you guys ran into the same issue. What direction did you take?

Here is a picture. Not the best pic of the damage but you can see it here:

Yeah i need to eithe replace mine or do something new as well. I actually smashed in the aluminum part between the two tow hooks. :( So my damage is very easy to see from a long distance. haha

At least people know i have 0 problems running things over, even when that something is a large hill.

I'd toss out number 2. Why replace something without upgrading it? It's probably cheaper to get the TMX skid anyways. I'd probably go ahead and get the full aftermarket bumper, just because it completely changes the look of the truck.

Yeah i took a tree stump right in between the two tow hooks when doing a three point turn on a jeep trail. :(

So i would have to replace that whole damn part and not just the skid plate.

Which means i might as well do a bumper. :(

I took my stock bumper and skidplate off and put them in the garage within a few days of getting my Raptor. I did mine mostly for deer protection, but the ADD Stealth bumper sure looks good on it!
