I made a pit stop on my way to the Baja 1000 and spent a lot of the day today hanging around RPG and bugging Corey. I picked up a race line rear with trailer hitch and installed it myself with the help of Corey of course. I have to say this bumper is quality. Even down to the box that holds the trailer connections...amazing.
Anyway, Corey helped me dovetail my bed which makes the race line fit the lines of the truck even better. I did the cutting myself. The line is pretty much done by eye and a straightedge. There are a couple of little tricks, but it's super simple to do.
I also trimmed the bumper mounts on the frame with a plasma cutter. I saw a truck at the shop with the same bumper and a 37" tire under the bed as a spare. It looks like this bumper gives an extra inch or two to the sparewell which accommodates a 37".
