From Woodbridge, had to buy the car in Cape May because of either dealers out of stock/can't order or because the stealer is adding 3-5k above MSRP.

Good looking truck JM. Congrats. I'm from Atlantic County but ended up traveling to get mine also. Pretty soon nobody will be able to get a new one. That's when our club gets real exclusive. I may be a Raptor loser for saying this but I'm not in a big rush to get on the mod bandwagon. Raptors are pretty ******* awesome right from the factory IMO. I mean, I've got a Line-X and a Radiator bug shield for now and some bar lights would be cool in the future but that's about it for me.

Oh, you're the second new guy I've seen from the People's Rep. of NJ who is dutifully wearing their new car dealer inspection sticker. I never got one placed in my window and I like it like that. The view at that angle is much cleaner and this state can kiss my ass anyway. Besides, NJ doesn't give a rats ass about vehicle inspection anymore. I did leave my cool "made in Dearborn" oval sticker in the lower passenger corner though. Made with pride at the Rouge in the USA. Call me old fashioned but I dig that. Did I mention **** this over regulated state? I did put the front tag on reluctantly though cause the traffic Nazis in these parts just love that as probable cause for a stop. Some have mentioned that northern NJ is more lenient with that but I can assure you, not around here. <rant over>

Oh well, enjoy the hell out of your new Raptor. Every day I have to traverse the **** poor roads of this state I'm glad I got mine. The Raptor laughs at every pothole, expansion joint, frost heave and any other anomaly that some of the worst cared for roads in the world can dish out. Hell, off road trips seem better than on road commutes around here. <end of rant, really>

Ha, yea, not a choice really when the dealer throws the sticker on. I don't mind it anyway.

I was unaware there was a truck meet in Tinton Falls, I'll definately go to that.

Kinda feel weird doing a truck meet with a stock truck.. but hell, it's still a Raptor afterall!

I'm loving it so far, got mid-perch and tints lined up (in my head) as my first mods. I lie, the first mod was changing the antennae (if that counts). I have to recover from the down payment a bit before I dive into mods but perch and tint are mandatory in my book.

I'm not sure what to go with. I had 20% on my previous vehicle and I liked it, wished I had gone darker though. I don't know what percentage tint there is from the factory on the rears and I find conflicting info on this forum and the web. I'm hesitant to do 5%..

20% is pretty decent. Rear windows are 20% factory from what my tint guy told me. I had that on my old truck. I did hate the sun glare I would get from the front window so on my Raptor, I tinted the front window over the stupid NJ inspection sticker and then add a tint strip at the top which gives the illusion that my front window isn't tinted.

By the way, if you have sunroof, throw an additional 20% or 5% tint on there, you'll be able to keep it open on the sunniest of days without that glare on your head.

If you need a good tint shop, the shop I used is in Hudson County....does alot of highend good quality work.
