Hello everyone! I have a stupid question regarding tire pressure on my new set of Nittos. 2019 Raptor and the Load Range is E. I'm used to keeping my tires around 35psi but the place that installed them filled them up to 48psi. They can technically go up to 65psi wit the load range. For new tires, does it matter what is a good psi to start with? break-in period etc. Would going down to 35psi be fine?
Thank you in advance for helping with my mind warping question.

Put new KO2’s on truck about 2 months ago. Left shop they had 43 psi plus each. Aired down immediately to 35 psi. Rattle your teeth out riding around on 40 plus psi tires. My opinion

Can you provide a quick description of your experience with these? Noise, comfort (once you reduce the pressure), balancing ? They look like a great option for something other than ko2. Mine unfortunately never balanced correctly so I’m looking for something else.

definitely quiet and the ride is comfortable even with higher psi. no issues during balancing I am 100% happy with the purchase. had them installed the day first day it snowed here and no complaints.

I think at Raptor Assault they recommend 38 front, 34 rear, something close to that. I just got the Wildpeak AT4 installed. They are at 38 each and feel amazing.

Glad to hear it, if possible post some pics. I’m sure there’s a lot of people who would be interested in these moving forward

Those are interesting tires, they seem awesome but the weight is pretty high. Do you notice it? Post some pics if you can!

That's what I settled on. 38F/34R. I have load range E Ridge Grapplers and they ride and wear great.

You need to remember to air up if you tow or have a heavy load. 34 in the rear is not enough loaded (IMO) unless you are going both low speeds and short distances.
