New MD (sigh) Raptor Owner - Track Day Truck

Hello! I'm sure I'm not alone here - I picked up my 2019 SuperCrew to use as a trackday truck, offroad adventuremobile and waytoobigforthegarage sometime-daily driver. I can't wait for Maryland winters.

I'm also looking for offroad opportunities. I've been a few places like Corolla and some crappy little roads, but would be grateful to hear suggestions. I plan to head out to Wolf's Run (or whatever it's called) in Garrett county soon.

Also thinking about taking Ford up on their offer for Raptor Assault. Can anyone speak to whether it's worth it?

I've attached some pictures to summarize my use of the truck so far . I almost attached a picture of the trailer but I realized that I now need a better one - my current one looks pathetically small attached to this monster.

Sheehy wasn't too bad. We beat eachother up back and forth pretty considerably on more than one truck before we settled on a deal. If you go to Sheehy Gaithersburg, see if you can find a salesman there named Patrice. He was fun to work with and very responsive.

In summary, I had a HARD time finding a dealer to even match Sheehy's price, much less beat it, within a pretty significant radius. For what it's worth, I'm not a Sheehy fanboy and the closest I'd ever been to buying a car from them before this ended unsuccessfully. You may also consider the Frederick Motor Company. I like the staff there; I almost made a deal with them but it would have been a long wait and they were basically going to match Sheehy.

Is that pic from njmp? Or Nyst? I sold my track bike over a year ago, it was hard to do but it’s so expensive for track time and slicks. The year before I hung up my leathers I had a bad get off at over 100 and separated both of my shoulders and brake a few ribs.
