I seriously considered these lights but bought BD prerunners instead. According to vision x's little advertisement, the light produce 1000' of usable light. When I thought about it, that's not that far. Good fill in light but sounds like it falls short in the distance category.

Has anyone wanted to just say F it and put a Pitmaster on their truck? (14.790lumens) Lol. I might put two of them on my wrecker if these MFers don't figure out about the Move Over Law!

330 yards not enough distance to you?

No. To put it into perspective, my light forces are advertised to have usable light out to well over 1500 meters.. Easily 4 times the distance of the cannons. Going to the cannons would be huge step backwards.....

Another thought, people with the 4500s are complaining the distance isn't what they thought they would be in the hood mount thread, but yet visionx claims the 4500 spots reach out to 800 meters where the cannons reach out to a little over 300m/1000'. Either the numbers are screwy and/or people that are buying the cannons for distance are in for a huge disappointment.

Thats a good point brought up..I guess the only way to tell is to get them and try them out. Who's going to be the first to test?

I'll have some night pics up soon. Sure, the HID's are going to outshine ANY LED, that's a given. But for a single LED these will outshine any other LED in that category. There's no other single LED that can reach those distances. It's a big step in the LED game, but HID still outshines in terms of distance (in a purely spot form)
