And compared to my HIDX lights, I expect these will outshine. Plus I get the ability to change beam patterns and colors.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. My HIDX are bright and the euro beam covers a great area...but they really only "acceptably" light up objects directly in front of the truck, in the 200-300 foot range. These should definitely pick out stuff beyond that!

The flexibility to change is so sweet. At the SnoBall, I didn't run my hood lights due to the amount of light being reflected back at me. I did see guys running spots up there, and with the smaller area, I don't think they got the bounce back as much.

I do want these, but man O man you should have seen the look on my wife's face when I said I wanted not only more lights, but lights to replace lights that I don't "need" in the first place. Gonna cost me like 3 pairs of shoes to get these guys!

I didn't use my hood mounted spots much during the Snoball because mostly they just reflected back at me. That and the distance wasn't there with them. I am currently looking for new lights for the hood mounts. I have one advantage you don't, my wife said these lights suck you should get new ones.

Throw in a purse or two and you should be good for suspension upgrades too! :signs1:

I have these on the Jeep--10 watt wide and 10 watt driving. They esp the driving throw very well so the Cannons "should" be just killer. Going to put some on the Jeep in the middle of the bumper.

The sticks have been taken out lol.... Got lucky with that...

The best part about the Vision X lights is that they do not let in water at least on mine!!

I been having hood mounts sitting in my room I need to install. Will these be sufficient?

If these lights are mounted with the Raptor Claws, has there been confirmation the new lights will allow the hood to open?
