New leaf springs I just got under warranty are sitting to high.

I've been looking online, but I can't find what the factory torque settings are.

Yeah I can't find it either. May take it to a different dealer and have them sort it out.

Shackle nuts are 135ft lbs.

Frame nuts are 260ft lbs.

Gen 2 Torque Specs?

Anyone have a sheet with the torque specs? I've seen some sheets for the Gen 1 with the common parts we swap or replace listed with torque specs. Anyone got one handy? I'm currently looking for specs on rear shock upper and lower nuts and front lower CA nuts/bolts. If not, I'll buy the service...

Nope. It's not a performance bushing.. it's a comfort/quiet one from the factory.

They are also molded to the center area the bolt goes thru so that's why it's a big deal to torque at ride height..


The deavers use energy suspension poly urethane that need greased..

the poly ones the center sleeve floats which contributes to noises

yes. specifically the rear shackles.

just loosen everything, at ride height.. jump up and down on the bed a few times and then tighten everything back up.

This: make sure the truck sits on level ground.
