Yessir and thank you!Was that one listed by Momentum? I was watching that one. Super clean truck! Congrats!
Guy ran a red light running about 45/55 and hit the drivers side front as I was pulling out to make a left. Luckily no injuries other than the massive headache losing a truck during covid and high gen 2 prices causes lol
Yeah the gen 3’s are definitely sweet idk if one will be in my future though I just have a little bit too much love for the scab. And the way I look at it is very similar to how you just mentioned. Essentially all in all it cost me about $4k to get a model year newer truck(truck itself is almost two years newer by build date) with 25k less miles and a crapload more features(seriously why does the 802 have all these features they’re completely unnecessary but they do make me feel like I’m living a life of comfort with my heated steering wheel lol). All in all it sucked and I lost the performance blue but leadfoot is great too and everyone walked away fine so I’m happy with the outcome.Sounds similar to my total loss accident in my 2018, saw your original thread - glad it all worked out, figured it would, but the clock was certainly ticking & inventories shrinking looking for a new 2020 leftover- especially a SCAB!’n
like I said- simply a unicorn find especially at this point in 2021, I didn’t see any scabs when I was looking & as far as I can remember back to when I bought my 2018 I never saw a scab w/ 802a usually 801 or 800
Not sure if you’ve thought about this- but In a weird way as much as it sucked getting my all time fav DD totaled w/ only 2 years & 35k Miles under it + mods, long as the ins company treated you alright the whole thing worked out in your favor- get to continue driving your fav rig even longer since you’re starting off again w/ a fresh one lol
let the gen 3s come out & see what breaks/has issues the first year or 2 then figure out if it makes sense to upgrade etc
