I've never understood the excessive special edition Mustang price markups. The standard BOSS 302 looks like a great package, but the Laguna Seca's really starting to get into higher-spec car territory, given that you can get 90% of it in a 30k GT. But marking them up into the 70s and 80s seems insane. That money also buys a Z06 or M3. And you can build a faster Mustang for 40k.
Is this just fallout from the collector car ******** that seems to plaguing television as of late? Do people think they're investing in these things?
Then again I have a hard time understanding how Huntington Beach Ford wants 8k over sticker for a totally stripped Raptor screw.
