Yes. Rock sliders must be able to support the weight of the vehicle. If you can't jack-up the vehicle up via the sliders then they are NOT rock sliders.

Only reason I say this is, somebody isn't gonna read in to them, gonna buy them and get they're truck stuck up on a rock. They're gonna have damage and then go on some public forum and bash you because they didn't buy true rock sliders (like the others your designing) and expected them to work like em. I don't think a member here would do that, but we have tons of guests that view this place and you never know how smart they are.

I would still advertise them as upgraded steps, that are stronger and not as wide, designed to take impacts from rocks and come away unscathed unlike the stock steps.

Btw not trying to bash or anything I really like the design and can't wait to see the top plate on them.

Already addressed this issue and changed the info in the title. The frame mounts will make them sliders when I finish them up. This will be an option for those that want them frame mounted only.

I should have pricing today for everyone. Just have to get my hands on a scab and get the measurements and I will get them going. scab will be a little cheaper than screw. stay tuned

Finally got the pricing done

899 no top plates
1199 with dimpled top plates
Price includes power coating color of your choice with raw aluminum top plate

Production begins on the screw version Monday and will be about 3 weeks to finish the first batch. Scab will begin soon after. Pm me if you are interested. Thanks Dave
