love the blue raptor svt ones. i would totally install these if i wasnt terrified of drilling my doors and splicing wiring

can't do anything about the drilling part but it's not near as bad as it seems. As for the splicing it's only one wire.

The raptor can go into 30" of water according to the manual. This is past the bottom of the door. Are the image lights water tight if a hole is drilled? And if the answer is it should be, Has it been tested?

You could easily make or have the double AA supply a rubber gasket to go around the bottom area. I have some not from the Double AA and I sealed the wire and took it apart and put silicone on the threads

They will have to be pretty low profile because I had the mirror apart the other day and I don't think they would fit length wise

they are water resistant and yes they have been tested unfortunately one of our employees decided to deep sea diving in his truck. In the second picture you'll notice the image mounted on the rear is projecting onto the muddy water.
