Don't get me wrong, I still miss my Raptor at times but it was the right move for me to sell it at market conditions and I got a killer deal on this 16 Cummins. Practically brand new with 13,000 miles. Who knows, maybe someday I'll buy another low mile Get 2 or wait a few years and get a Get 3. My old man is looking at a diesel Escalade or Yukon Denali with the diesel, how is it? I told him to just get the 6.2 lol.

I don't feel like dropping a ton into the suspension so I will probably go with their entry level kit around $1,250-$1,500. That's good to hear, probably the same one I'm looking at with the Fox shocks, Carli Springs and I will probably throw on a Carli steering stabilizer as well, I think it's around the $1,300 mark. If so that's good to know! I don't tow anything with it, occasionally a load of dirt, mulch, etc but never heavy towing. It's tuned and deleted since 4,000 miles, s&b cold air intake, pusher intake, arp head studs, Fass 165 and 5" jam turbo back with muffler. I use my 99 2nd Gen Cummins 5spd for the heavy work or towing. I use this for daily driving when I need or want to but I'm soon buying a sport-bike so I don't want to drop thousands on suspension. If the same kit I think your buddy is running that I'm also looking at, I may go that route! It rides nice but man is she stiff, bouncy and shakes on these uneven beat up Dallas roads and bumps, whereas the Raptor just kinda hugged the road and bumps and soaked it all in, my Ram kinda hops over it all so I'm hoping this Carli kit will help.

It's awesome. Its quiet and gets killer MPGs - we are averaging 28 with a mix of city and highway driving and a tank will go ~600 miles. Can still tow 8k LBS too.

RE: Carli kit - Would strongly suggest the torsion sway bar if you can swing it.

Welcome to FRF.

I traded in my '16 superduty for a '18 Raptor. I miss the superduty but the Raptor is fun. Can not compare the two.

Figured that was the case. Ideally would have a superduty and a fun car, but can't swing that setup right now. Feel like the raptor is a good combo. I'm excited to get mine

I’ll have to share that with the old man, I think he has a couple orders put in and whichever shows up first he’s buying.

Let me know if your buddy ran the kit that i’m thinking is the same one I’m looking at.

Thanks,
C
