Hey, Bov, welcome! Couple of tips from an old hand....1st, set your personal bar high, get your masters (in something that is highly marketable or that points you to starting your own business). The initial price of a Raptor is high, but realistically, the care and feeding one is an ongoing expense is also higher than most vehicles, particularly with gas (@$4.00/gal) and the aftermarket upgrades you will undoubtedly want to do. Don't count out a used truck that has been well cared for, you can save some on the initial depreciation, but resale on these trucks is generally higher as they will hold their value better as a specialty vehicle. When your are ready and not streching your finances all out of shape, jump in, you won't regret it, they are fabulous trucks.

Hello everyone my name is Jimrad65 I am new to this forum I have a 2011 tuxedo Black super crew with a ton of mods from lighting 21/2" front lift 5" Rear amp research steps full stainless works headers true duals procharger D1-SC how do I get to show some of my pictures and get help getting a better tune mine is not bad but believe it should be a lot better I have a little over 2000 miles on this truck she's fast as hell but off the line should be more constituent I need people from all over to feel like I do about something I worked hard for love this truck it has everything possible from factory plus my mods if someone can text me thru getting my pics up and hopefully make some good friends I'm on the East coast thank you for letting me join up to a forum so I don't know anything about how to navigate around here but I can learn thanks again

Jim..let's see pics, and own your own thread...if you reply to a post, scroll down into Additional Options, go to Manage Attachments, upload a pic from your machine. If the pic is too big (like most of mine are when i shoot them) I reduce the size using Powerpoint by building slides then saving the file in .jpg format and uploading the .jpg from the saved slides. This reduces the size dramatically so they aren't too big to upload. There are probably easier ways, I don't know.

You could also use a image hosting site such as imgur.com or photobucket.com or tinypic.com, then use the link the site provides, click the button on on the message window that has a mountain and a yellow background and insert images that way.

Get real smart, get a job, get some $, get ur raptor!!!! My advice don't buy it unless u can actually afford it. I hate seeing young people jumping in with both feet and next thing u know ur in over ur head and once u sink to the bottom it's tough to swim back to the top. Bottom line be smart and that starts with school!
