Hey Jim!
That is so cool to share an experience like this with your son!

I attended Raptor Roundup as well, waited in the line to drive a factory unit and Ive been on the hunt since! I finally will be getting my 2013 Crew Mon night. Would be cool to hook up with you guys sometime!

Nice air by the way! I was laughing at how slow some people where going, I couldnt see why you would wait in line for 2hrs to put around the tracke. Crazy. It was my first time ever getting air in a vehicle and it was a very wierd feeling but Im hooked! 35mph off the back jump!

Pat, congrats on the new truck. You are going to love it.
I was on the fence about it too. Had my F-250 for 7 years and traded it for the Raptor the night my son went up to look at the one he ended up buying. Quick test drive and I was sold.

I was one of the slow ones, compared to my son anyway, but they said keep it around 30 - 40 mph. Plus, never took a truck fresh off the lot and hit the dirt like that.

Would be great to get together some time. Looks like there are quite a few members on here from the Vegas area too.

Thanks Jim! I got it Mon night (After going through hell with transport) and do love it! I am very impressed, Ive been lurking since 2011 and couldn't see buying it while still owning the diesel. Boy was I wrong! Ill keep the diesel for the grunt work and play in the Raptor!

Wife snagged it today because the 6yo said "its the best car weve ever owned!" Funny....she just sent me a text after getting to work..."I love this truck". Uh-oh.

We should start a monthly meet up or summn. Maybe there is already one going on?

Pat, maybe after the holidays we can get together and start a monthly something.
Perhaps one of the more experienced local guys can chime in and we can get out and hit some trails.
