Looks great! I did my own retrofit with 5.0's. Did you not have to grind around the front side of the reflector them to sit in further? Maybe the 6.0's are not as long? Just curious since that's what took the longest for me was getting them to sit deeper in the reflector.

No I just had to trim down the rear of the reflector assembly. I wish I had a belt sander for it, but my Dremel cutting wheel worked just fine.

Lovin' those RR evil eyes playa. So Badass!

Yeah they look mean when your parked at night and walking up to it. I had a guy at Walmart last night just staring. I don't believe he knew what he was looking at.

Looks good, inspired me to do mine finally. Did you just spray the chrome reflector to make it all black?

Build time was around 6-7 hours with install. A little longer depending on humidity and drying time for paint. total cost was around $360 plus headlights.

I'm looking to do the same kind of project, but am hesitant to try & tear the lights apart. How did you do it?

Well actually I bought aftermarket ones off ebay and still have the stocks sittting here in my house. If you put the headlights in the oven for 7 min at 260-270 the butyl rubber gets soft and you can pull the lens apart from the housing. I tried it on my stocks and it appears they have a silicon bead instead of a butyl rubber. After 7 min in the oven the stockers wouldn't pull apart for me. The headlights I got of ebay were $138 and came right apart. Then after building in the projector you just reseal with more butyl rubber and your done. Still no leaks of moister in the headlights and I have washed them many times and been through rain many days with large temperature differences.
