Gents,

You guessed it. I'm still kicking.

New engine and some odd issues. In red is the issue, in green is what I did so far.

  • 2017, complete engine rebuild and new items such as: oil pump/coolant everything/plugs
  • Engine Stuttering in higher boost high engine revs
  • Checked vacuum lines and PCV to make sure my BOV was still connected properly
  • I have yet to ensure the plugs are gapped to .028, could be my issue...
  • I removed my MPT tune for now
  • CODES: P051B and P04DB and I pulled EVAP/CAT from the I/M Results inside the MPT tuner
Can those incorrectly gapped plugs cause those major stutters and codes?

Help a BRUVVA.

Those codes indicate an issue with the crank case vent and pressure. Could be a bad pressure sensor? Without knowing what the plugs are gapped to hard to say but even at .031 you shouldn't experience those issues. Did you replace the coils?

I did not replace the coils.

I need to first regap those plugs and see what happens. Then assume crank pressure sensor. After all, the crank did crack on the old system.

I also meant to add that the temperature looks to be from 226 all the way up to 241. It fluctuates back-and-forth but not all the time.

Also, some new codes just popped up

Guarantee it's coil or plug and you will never be able to tell by looking at them. Small cracks make big misses.

I had the same thing after doing some work so I bought 2 new coils and plugs and started switching them around until the miss went away.

those codes are telling you your cats are bad, could be related to the crank case deal though.

Whats up @smurfslayer? Miss me yet?

I will try to do the install of my backup set of new plugs gapped at .028.

POSTING for knowledge and reference:

So someone replaced a sensor WAY under the engine and someone else replaced something on top on the LEFT side and another person replaced something on the right side.

All of these cant FKING be crank shaft sensors...

Help before I toss this into a river.
