You've really thought this through. I'm thinking about ditching the GoPro and following your lead. The mount you have looks so much more legit.


How easy or hard are the camera's controls to operate? Are they pretty user friendly? Does it have a little digital screen or something?

The mount will work with either cam - I just find the rotating lens to be easier to deal with on the Drift cam. I highly recommend the mount, as it practically takes a crowbar to get the damn suction cups off even when the pressure is released...

Camera controls are simple. A menu button and up/down arrows on the camera, with a power/record button. The menu is super easy to navigate and set your options (see pic). The remote has only two buttons - record and stop. Can't get easier than that!
