Im a marine in Afgan currently and would like some tips on raptors. Im a serious buyer just need some background info. Whats the best year to purchase from? What are some updates that will need to happen for mild to tough endrance racing? Looking at forced induction (roots style), what needs to be changed for about 10 -15lbs of boost? Thanks for any help that you can give.

I just got don't doing the rear, and front suspension mod (step 1 for me). I know I might seem bias but RPG was awesome, and I took all ther recommendation, and hit all the dirt roads by my house and it handled like a dream! Stage 3 in the rear and mid perch in the front is amazing!

I'm in the navy and have been over seas to many locations, so I know the Internet sucks and is very limited. From what I hear I would go with the suspension and frame strengthening mods first. Then if you are going to run a blower setup I would get trac bars or something in the rear to eliminate axle hop. Then get all the other supporting mods first that the blower requires before just jumping the gun. Once all the suspension, frame strengthening, and other mods you need to run the blower...drop in the whipple 2.9 kit. They are expensive though but you will be getting a top notch quality product that looks like it came from the factory already installed. You can also have different color options for the blower its self and different upgrades for the entire setup. I would ask whipple how much boost the stock internals of the engine can handle. 15#'s is a lot of boost. Hope this gets you started. Thanks for serving and come home safe!
