Yesterday I got under the truck and checked my Borla S-Type mid pipe connections and one was a bit lose from the shop and the pipe seemed about a 1/4 inch out. I pushed the fitting back in 1/4 inch and tightened and it quieted things down quite a bit.

Happens to almost all of them. My shop welded my connections.
